This photograph shows a large crowd gathered around the field to watch a baseball game at Island Park in Schenectady, New York. Island Park was built in 1901 for the New York State League Games. It was also home to the 1913 original Mohawk Giants games. There is no indication of which teams are playing in this photograph. Island Park's name was changed to Columbus Park in 1920. This photo is taken from behind the outfield wall, giving a wide shot of the crowd gathered and the players on the field.
